I remember the first time I read On Our Backs. I was shaking. My knees were weak. I did not know that lesbians for the lesbian gaze could be actually found--in print! Permanently! I wanted a current issue, but was dismayed when I found out they were gone. On Our Backs went out of print in 2006.
